A DATE WITH THE RAIN

There was a time when rain meant running outside... not staying inside. Getting wet wasn't an inconvenience. Getting dirty wasn't a problem. It was all part of the fun.

As a child, you waited for the rain. As an adult, you wait for it to stop.

The rain hasn't changed. Maybe the way we look at it has.

This time, let's forget about staying dry for a while. Let's step outside, feel the rain, get a little muddy, and reconnect with ourselves, nature, and other humans through some fun and meaningful activities.

Nature Mandala

Get creative with what nature offers. No rules, just imagination and a little surprise!

Mindfulness

Slow down, feel the rain, and discover what you've been missing around you.

Perspective

Same world, different eyes. Discover what others see that you don't.

You don't need any special skills or experience. Just bring your curiosity, your playful side, and a willingness to get a little wet!

Maybe it's time to enjoy the rain like we once did.

Come as you are, leave a little lighter.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1. Activities begin at 9:30 AM sharp. Make an entrance, just not a late one.

2. Please carry a water bottle and a small waterproof pouch for your phone in case it rains.

3. Some activities include the option to go barefoot. Wear comfortable footwear that's easy to remove.

4. Once you reach Guindy Children's Nature Park, head inside, walk towards the large bird cage and you'll find me nearby.
