Alan’s building projects featured in this exhibition include Headwaters Park, the Foellinger Theatre, the Pyramid Plaza, the Hanna Creighton block (Urban League, Head Start, and Pontiac Public Library) and the downtown Community Center.
His artwork has been on display in local coffeehouses and galleries. Alan, who will turn 89 days before the exhibit’s opening, has been touted as Purdue Fort Wayne’s oldest student and continues to take art classes.
Alan and his wife, Maureen, are long-time members of the Temple and past presidents.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Irene Walters. Joining Alan on the panel are Geoff Paddock, Fort Wayne City Councilman and former Executive Director of Headwaters Park, and John O’Connell, Dean of the College of Visual & Performing Arts at Purdue Fort Wayne.
