Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia will address issues pertaining to his office at a program scheduled for April 26 at the Frank E. Merriweather Jr. Library (1324 Jefferson Ave., Buffalo). Topics at “A Conversation with the Erie County Sheriff” include diversity and other hiring considerations, the department's annual report, questions about use of force and progress on creating a Crisis Services Responses Team.
Audience members will have the opportunity to submit written questions for Sheriff Garcia at check-in, which begins at 5:30 with the program starting at 6 p.m.
