Please join us on October 15, 2026 from 7pm to 9pm for a wonderful evening with baking legend, Dame Rose Levy Beranbaum, as we celebrate the release of her new memoir, Ma Vie en Rose. Rose will be in conversation with Kara Baskin of the Boston Globe and her husband and collaborator, Woody Wolston.
Rose has been called the “diva of desserts,” “the most meticulous cook who ever lived,” and “legendary baker.” She has published fifteen books. The Cake Bible was inducted into both the IACP and James Beard Cookbook Hall of Fame (seven other awards include the Who’s Who and Les Dames d’Escoffier International Philadelphia Chapter Outstanding in Her Field Award). Her memoir, Ma Vie en Rose, includes time capsules of the evolving golden age of the food world, interwoven with her career. Rose also has written for major food magazines, and had a PBS Show. Rose is a designer of equipment for baking and cooking. Her popular blog is Real Baking with Rose. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and partner, Woody Wolston.
Tickets are $75 each and include a signed a copy of Ma Vie en Rose, the presentation, and a reception with light refreshments. The venue for our event is the community gathering room at Temple Elohim 10 Bethel Rd, Wellesley, MA. It is close to Rt 95/128 and there is free parking available.
Proceeds from the event go to the Les Dames d’Escoffier Boston scholarship fund which supports scholarships and awards for women in the culinary and hospitality industry. Awards include the Culinary Adventure Award at Boston University, Minuteman Regional Technical High School culinary scholarship, NECAT (New England Culinary Arts Training), and Saccone Awards for unsung heroes in hospitality.
