About this Event

The Seminary Co-op is so excited to welcome author Nick Cutter to our stores! Nick will be discussing his newest book, The Dorians, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Nick will be joined in conversation by horror and dark fantasy author, Christina Henry!

About The Dorians: The all-new novel of terror from “one of the hottest horror authors on the planet” (Paste) and writer of the #HorrorBookTok sensation The Troop!
On a remote island in the Canadian wilderness, five elderly volunteers from different walks of life are given a tantalizing offer: to stall their biological clocks or even reverse them, restoring their lost youth. The chance to put death on pause—forever, perhaps. The remarkable secret lies in the high-tech harnessing of an ancient and extraordinary biological agent…one with no conscience, yet possessed with a single-minded purpose that has helped it persist for eons: the will to survive. The dark heart of unbridled human ambition finds its apex in an unholy experiment that now tests the limits of both creator and subject, eclipsing all bounds of morality and sanity….

About Nick Cutter: Nick Cutter is the author of the critically acclaimed national bestseller The Troop (which is currently being developed for film with producer James Wan), The Deep, Little Heaven, The Queen, and The Handyman Method, cowritten with Andrew F. Sullivan. Nick Cutter is the pseudonym for Craig Davidson, whose much-lauded literary fiction includes Rust and Bone, The Saturday Night Ghost Club, and, most recently, the short story collection Cascade. His story “Medium Tough” was selected by author Jennifer Egan for The Best American Short Stories 2014. He lives in Toronto, Canada.

About Christina Henry: Christina Henry is a horror and dark fantasy author whose works include THE PLACE WHERE THEY BURIED YOUR HEART, THE HOUSE THAT HORROR BUILT, GOOD GIRLS DON’T DIE, HORSEMAN, NEAR THE BONE, THE GHOST TREE, THE GIRL IN RED, THE MERMAID, LOST BOY, the CHRONICLES OF ALICE series (ALICE, RED QUEEN and LOOKING GLASS) and the seven-book urban fantasy BLACK WINGS series.
Her short stories have been featured in the anthologies HOWL, ELEMENTAL FORCES, CURSED, TWICE CURSED, GIVING THE DEVIL HIS DUE and KICKING IT.
She enjoys running long distances, reading anything she can get her hands on and watching movies with samurai, zombies and/or subtitles in her spare time. She lives in Chicago with her husband and son.
