The Israeli author, influencer, activist, and fellow at the Tel Aviv Institute will be in conversation to share about a variety of topics including the current Middle East conflict, the story of his family's experience escaping Iraq and Tunisia, his military service as a humanitarian officer in the West Bank, the work being done to promote LGBTQ+ equality in Israel and around the world, and what it means to be a proud, progressive Zionist (especially post-October 7). The evening will begin with a brief, musical community havdalah to end Shabbat.
