A Confluence of Sound, Light, Love, and Magic

Flute and Singing Bowl Master Sherry Finzer returns to Grand Junction to join Gongmaster Jere Friedman for another evening of soothing and uplifting music and sonic energy.

When you arrive, Sherry will invite you to privately write down your intention for what you would like to experience more of in your life or any issues that you would like to release. Sherry will randomly select some of those intentions to guide her as she selects flutes, keys and modes to create spontaneous flute compositions that will connect with participants, help release negative energies, and bring about a sense of peace and calm.

Then, like two rivers of sound coming together at the confluence, Jere will add the vibrations of gongs, bowls, and vocals to Sherry’s beautiful flute tones and singing bowls to envelop your body, mind, and spirit in the energy of Sound, Light, Love, and Magic. We’ll finish the evening as the powerful GONG VORTEX takes you on your own personal journey of rejuvenation, re-energization, and reconnection with your Authentic Self.

• Doors open at 6:00. Please arrive before 6:30 to visit with friends (some old, some new) and get settled. The program will begin promptly at 6:30.
• Feel free to stay afterwards for herbal tea and great conversation.

WEAR: Dress in layers and wear loose, comfortable clothing. As a courtesy to others, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, scented body lotion, or other body fragrances.

BRING: A yoga mat or pad, blankets, pillows or cushion, and eye pillow or eye mask, as you will be sitting and lying on the floor. (Chairs are also available for sitting if you are unable to sit and lie on the floor.)

Sherry Finzer is a visionary musician dedicated to exploring the healing power of music. Drawing on her diverse background across various styles and genres, she has developed a unique focus on calming, soothing, and meditative compositions designed to promote healing and overall well-being. Her music has been embraced by fans and listeners for its ability to reduce stress, encourage relaxation, and provide solace during challenges such as grief, depression, tinnitus, stroke, and cancer.

Specializing in low flutes (alto, bass, contrabass) and Native flutes, Sherry's work has been featured in advertisements, independent films, and widely on platforms like SiriusXM’s Spa Channel, Pandora, Spotify, Music Choice, and Calm Radio. A pioneer in live streaming on the Insight Timer app, she performs weekly sessions and recently had her track "Distant Rivers" showcased on PBS’s From Sea to Shining Sea.

In 2024, Sherry achieved her Level II Group Sound Healing Certification from the prestigious Sound Healing Academy in the UK. With over 300 hours of training and nearly five years of live-streaming experience, she now provides individual, group, and corporate sound healing sessions, both in-person and online via Zoom.

Sherry has recorded nearly 400 tracks, available on all streaming platforms, including collaborations with renowned artists such as pianists Michael Martinez and Greg Maroney, guitarist Darin Mahoney, 7-time GRAMMY nominee and percussionist Will Clipman, harpists VeeRonna Ragone and Peter Sterling, and multi-instrumentalist Cass Anawaty (Evenfall and Majestica). She was also a featured artist on the GRAMMY-nominated album The Passenger by Cheryl Engelhardt in 2022.

In addition to her musical achievements, Sherry is the founder, president, and CEO of Heart Dance Records (established in 2009) and Higher Level Media (founded in 2015), a radio promotions company for instrumental musicians. She also established the Arizona World Music Initiative (2009), a 501(c)(3) organization.
