About this Event

This year's theme, "A Classic Throwback!", honors the extraordinary history, resilience, and cultural legacy of Sullivan Progress Plaza. The Plaza was founded by Rev. Dr. Leon H. Sullivan in 1968 and is headquartered in North Philadelphia. It is the first shopping center in the United States built, developed, continuously owned, and managed by African Americans.
Sullivan Progress Plaza Day will celebrate this remarkable legacy by recreating the spirit of a traditional neighborhood block party with live entertainment, local food vendors, community resources, and youth and family activities.

BINGO GAME- @The North Philadelphia Welcome Center (NPWC)

In addition, we will feature a BINGO game (adults only) held inside of the North Philadelphia Welcome Center (NPWC) as our funding activity, with prizes ranging from $25.00-$100.00. You will have 4 opportunities to win.
