** This is not an official Universal Studios event. We are not affiliated with Universal Studios. Just nerdy friends putting together a fun meetup. **Join us for a Christmas themed photo and trivia based scavenger hunt taking place at Universal Studios Hollywood theme park on Sunday, December 12th. It's going to be a blast!
There is a $15 registration fee per participant. This fee pays for your hunt supplies, snacks, event button, and winning team prizes. You must register by Tuesday, December 7th, 2021.
Please note: Our registration fee does NOT cover park admission. YOU MUST ALSO PROVIDE YOUR OWN TICKET TO ENTER UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD. A One-Day Park ticket may cost up to $124.
This is a TEAM event. Teams are made up of a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 6 people. At this time, due to the ongoing pandemic, we will not be pairing up anyone without a team. You must have a team in place to participate.
Every team must have at least one team member who has a smartphone and the Discord app installed.
You MUST register in advance. The final date to sign up is Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. No walk up registrations will be permitted.
We've updated our scavenger hunt format to bring more digital solutions and social distancing options during this time. As a result we will be staggering event start and end times. After advanced registration closes, we will be emailing each team with their specific arrival times. Arrival times will occur between 9am - 10am. Judging will be done in real-time and digitally. Each team will be assigned a deadline for posting everything to Discord by, and winners will be announced at 5pm. More information will be provided in advance via email and day of the event.
COVID-19 WARNING: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By visiting the Universal Studios Hollywood, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
The State of California strongly recommends that when you visit Universal Studios Hollywood you be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, obtain a negative COVID-19 test result prior to visiting, or wear a face covering. Guests who are not fully vaccinated should wear a face covering during their visit. All guests, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear face coverings indoors.
Additionally, we kindly ask that all participants keep their mask on while interacting with our hunt officials in person regardless of vaccination status or location. This includes during arrival, pop up bonus activities and all other meet-ups during the event. Thank you!
