West Virginia Public Theatre’s enchanting 2024 season finale, “A Christmas Carol,” has tickets on sale now! This co-produced show is a spirited collaboration with West Virginia University’s School of Theatre and Dance and will be performed for the public Dec. 7 — 11 at the Lyell B. Clay Theatre in the Canady Creative Arts Center on WVU’s Evansdale Campus in Morgantown.
Based on Charles Dickens’s classic novel, this adaptation brings the timeless tale to the stage. Following the journey of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man whose life is transformed one fateful Christmas Eve night as he is visited by the shadows of his life and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Scrooge learns the importance of compassion, generosity, and the true spirit of the holiday season.
