In 1843 Charles Dickens released the novella A Christmas Carol, twenty years later he took the story on a tour of the world, reading it in libraries and town halls to make his stories more accessible to every one. Since, a Christmas Carol has become one of the biggest and most adapted Christmas Stories of all time.
This Christmas, we are adapting the version Dickens took on tour and performing it in our studio bar by candlelight. This is the first of hopefully many more in our classical literature series.
