Doors open at 7pm for traditional mulled wine and mince pies before Dr Christine Corton, founding member of The Dickens Fellowship in Cambridge, sets the scene with insights into author Charles Dickens, his classic work 'A Christmas Carol' and its influence on how we experience Christmas today. Then, as the lights dim to candlight, allow Charles Dickens himself (actor Matt Ray Brown) to whisk you away into that victorian world with an evening of Christmas music and narrated excerpts from his famous story.
Doors open at 7pm for mulled wine and mince pies. Performance will start at 7.30pm and there will be no interval.
