Founded in 2010 by Reginald Haywood and Felicia Brown-Haywood, Curtain Called Ministry is a faith-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the gospel through the power of theatre. What began as a small vision to combine ministry and the performing arts has grown into a vibrant community of believers who use their gifts to inspire, uplift, and glorify God.

Over the years, our stage has come alive with unforgettable original productions such as A Child Is Born, A Son Is Given, Mary, Didn’t You Know, Going Home for Christmas, Born This Day, and Easter Extravaganza. Each performance is a celebration of faith, creativity, and togetherness — reminding us that storytelling is one of the purest ways to connect hearts and souls.

Now, more than a decade later, Curtain Called Ministry proudly includes three generations of local families, performers, dancers, musicians, and community leaders young & seasoned who continue to carry the torch forward. Many have grown up on our stage — from their very first lines to leading roles — making this ministry not just a theatre group, but a spiritual family.
