About this Event
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Step into a bright, creative space and enjoy a relaxing, hands-on candle-making experience inspired by the iconic cherry blossoms of Washington, D.C.
You’ll design a one-of-a-kind candle using a clean, white handcrafted concrete vessel and soft pink details inspired by blooming cherry trees. Guided throughout the process, you’ll explore fresh spring fragrances, pour your candle, and finish it with delicate wax elements that reflect the beauty of cherry blossom season.
No experience is needed, just come ready to unwind, connect, and create something beautiful.
What You’ll Do
Choose your signature scent
Explore a curated selection of luxury fragrance oils, with a focus on cherry blossom and complementary spring scents. Find the fragrance that captures the feeling of early spring.
Create and pour your candle base
Blend your chosen fragrance with soy wax and pour your candle into a handcrafted white concrete vessel as your piece takes shape.
Enjoy a creative pause
While your candle sets, relax and design a hand-colored floral card, perfect to keep or gift along with your candle
Discover floral wax decoration
Once your candle is ready, you’ll be guided through an elegant finishing technique. Choose from soft pink wax florals inspired by cherry blossom petals to create a design uniquely yours.
Take home your finished piece
Leave with a fully finished, one-of-a-kind cherry blossom candle: handcrafted by you and inspired by the DC Spring.
