Vince Guaraldi composed and performed most of the music used in the “Peanuts” specials. He was directly involved in 15 of them starting with “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” and ending with “It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brown.”
The Cliff Habian trio will present a musical retrospective of the music of Vince Guaraldi which will include music from all of these specials. In addition, there will be a few other of his hit songs including “Cast Your Fate To The Wind” (Grammy winner) and “Impressions of Black Orpheus.” Cliff adds interesting commentary and amusing anecdotes throughout over two hours of music performance which ends up being a very complete retrospective of this pianist’s playing style as well as career. This jazz trio takes a deep dive into the most beloved jazz music of television and film.
