About Michelle Atkinson
Michelle Atkinson is a Calgary-based multidisciplinary artist whose work begins with weather data. Translating that information into abstract shapes, she explores how glass, acrylic, paper and print can shift its meaning. Repetition creates new patterns; colour changes emotional associations; reclaimed materials bring their own histories. Her work invites viewers to look beyond the surface and consider how the same information can tell different stories.
