We need art more than ever. It has the power to unite by helping us understand and bridge our differences. It nourishes our souls, ignites our imaginations, and challenges us to grow into our best selves. The Arts, our schools and our children's futures are at risk right now. Middle school children are without an art teacher. Class sizes are way too large. Our children and their futures should not be political weapons.
Oh! Arts wants to hear from YOU! Share your poetry, music, artwork and your thoughts on why art matters. Was there a teacher who inspired you? Let us know, because teaching is an art, deeply intertwined with creativity and culture. Art is the backbone of any community, shaping its spirit and future.
