About this Event
Robert W. Jenson has been called “the greatest American theologian since Jonathan Edwards.” The author of 25 books, hundreds of articles, co-founder of the journals Dialog and Pro Ecclesia, and co-founder of the Center for Catholic and Evangelical Theology, Jenson held positions at Luther College, the University of Oxford, Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary, St. Olaf College, and the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton.
On October 5, the Center for Barth Studies is hosting an event to showcase The Robert W. Jenson papers. Reflections will be offered to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Robert W. Speakers include Dr. Bruce L. McCormack (Princeton Theological Seminary), Dr. Adam Eitel (Yale Divinity School), Dr. Matthew Burdette, and Solveig Gold (Princeton University). In their absence, reflections on Jenson's life and legacy from Dr. Robert George (Princeton University) and Rev. Dr. Kara Slade (Trinity Church, Princeton) will be read at the event.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 5 from 3:00–5:00 PM in the Theron Room (first floor) of the Theodore Sedgwick Wright Library at Princeton Theological Seminary. A small reception will follow the event.
The event is free and anyone can attend in-person or online. Please register in advance so we know how many to expect. If you plan to attend online, you must register prior to the event to receive a Zoom link on the morning of the event.
