A Celebration of Native American Arts & Culture
About this Event
Join the Town of Tiburon’s Heritage & Arts Commission and Diversity Inclusion Task Force for a special community event celebrating the rich Indigenous cultures of our region on Sunday, October 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Zelinsky Park (1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon).
This free event will be an afternoon of storytelling, dance, music, art, food, and hands-on activities that honor the traditions and ongoing contributions of Native peoples in the Bay Area.
We are proud to feature Tiburon resident Eddie Madril (Pasquale Yaqui Nation) and his internationally recognized Sewam American Indian Dance troupe (www.sewamdance.com).
This vibrant gathering will offer opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate through the voices and perspectives of Native community leaders and culture bearers.
Delicious Indigenous-style food will be available for sale by Dramatic Events Marin's food truck.
Please note: free parking is located behind the library and on the street. The parking lot adjacent to Town Hall and Zelinsky Park is a paid lot.
