About this Event
A la Mesa is happy to invite you to our event, “This is not another 5 de Mayo”, an experience that provides an authentic encounter to celebrate the richness of Mexican culture through a contemporary lens.
Join us as we bring people together to enjoy Mexican music, delicious food, practice your Spanish skills, and explore deeper narratives about identity and tradition through interactive sensory experiences in our quiz. You will taste typical candies, smell traditional spices, listen to slangs, see artistic expressions, and use your hands to prepare the famous Mexican pickled onions, a perfect topping for cochinita al pibil.
