Some Fun Facts About Malta

Some facts about Malta you may not know –

Malta is an Archipelago, not just one island. Instead, it is an archipelago made up of 7 small islands. There is evidence that people have lived in Malta since the Neolithic (5000 BC) with 11 the megalithic temples of Malta considered to be one of the oldest free-standing structures on earth. There are two Official Languages, Malti is the original language of Malta. English had only been one of the national languages since the occupation of Malta by Great Britain in the 18th century. 160,000 people from Malta live in Australia (that’s more than a third of Malta's islands population). Many popular singers seem to be of Maltese descent, some of which are: Tash Sultana, Bryan Adams, Natalie Imbruglia and Britney Spears.
