The children of Shirley Jenkins-Phelps invite you to join with family and friends on Saturday afternoon, October 23 to celebrate her extraordinary life.
We will safely* gather in person and online to share a few favorite stories, to reflect and reconnect, to cry (a little), but mostly to smile, laugh and just “be” together in loving memory of a life well lived! (Click here to read an excerpt of her obituary.)
African-inspired attire is encouraged.

*Out of consideration for the health and safety of all our guests: Individuals 12 years and older must be vaccinated to attend this memorial celebration in person; attendance is limited to 25% of room occupancy to allow for socially-distant seating; and face masks are required indoors (unless eating or drinking). The reception will immediately follow the program on the outdoor terrace (weather permitting).
