A Celebration of Hope In Action

The Domestic Violence Assistance Fund (DVAF) was launched in 2020 and was initially funded by CARES and ARPA funding. It has now evolved into a line item in the County budget establishing a model of long-term investment in survivor safety. HCDVCC administers the fund and partners with 19 community organizations to address growing safety and stability concerns for domestic violence survivors. Please join HCDVCC, as well as Harris County Commissioner Lesley Briones to a celebrate DVAF! The celebration will include the release of the DVAF Report including highlights from the report and from the evaluation of the fund.

Please join us on September 23rd at 1:00 pm at the Steve Radack Community Center 18650 Clay Rd, Houston, Texas 77084 to thank our Community Leaders who had the foresight and courage to step up for domestic violence survivors in Harris County. DVAF has been recognized nationally for its equity-centered and trauma-informed approach.
