The evening celebrates the transformative power of arts education while recognizing that lasting change requires more than great programs; it requires strong partnerships, shared data, collective advocacy, and sustained investment. Despite decades of research demonstrating the arts' impact on academic achievement, student well-being, workforce readiness, and creative problem-solving, access to arts education remains uneven across schools and neighborhoods. ACTA creates an opportunity for the people shaping New Orleans' educational and cultural landscape to build relationships, share responsibility, and commit to collective action.
