A Cape Town Chamber Choir Christmas

Antoinette Huyssen conducts this outstanding a cappella choir in a concert which explores the mystery and wonder of the Nativity, from the luminous Renaissance polyphony of Tomás Luis de Victoria’s “O magnum mysterium” to the tender lullaby “Maria Wiegenlied” by Max Reger and James MacMillan’s evocative “O Radiant Dawn.”
An exuberant second half includes John Rutter’s “O Holy Night,” the energetic gospel song “Go Tell It on the Mountain” and the rhythmically playful “Ding Dong Merrily on High” in 5/4 time - the perfect way to usher in the festive season.
Tickets are R180 from Quicket, at the door or by calling Anne on 082 218 0100
