License plates may seem like a mundane topic for historical exploration, but these often-overlooked items tie together people, events, politics, and trends through our everyday experience of driving a car. In this presentation, Chris Cooper discusses a selection of license plates from his collection and the connections that transform them from flat pieces of metal into 3-dimensional representations of our past.
This program will be broadcast on Channel 6 and on Zoom. See the ticket URL for the Zoom pre-registration.
