A fantastic Masters challenge at the NEC at the FitXpo to showcase our amazing full power and single lift Masters lifters, many of whom also lift open. When? 2nd and 3rd November

Start time: 10am
Weigh in times: 24 hour weigh in – 9.30 to 10.30am and 4pm to 5pm. NO on the day weigh ins

Saturday weigh ins are at the venue.
(please note, if you are entering full power and wish to ALSO enter bench or deadlift only – you will have to lift twice on 2 separate days and re-weigh in).

FitXpo, the premier Fitness event of Northern England is going to invade NEC and British Powerlifting Union is on board!
AT LAST! We are hosting a Masters only competition that has great prizes for the winners! Each competitor will get a medal and a certificate, and the BEST OVERALL ABPU and BPU female and male lifters on points coefficient (age points OF COURSE included) will receive special awards.
We do have yet to secure the great prizes, but they shall be great. Or at least they shall be prizes. Cadbury Crème eggs, if everything else fails. Half-eaten maybe, if Kalle gets to them first, but winner won’t go home empty handed!
We have been meaning to do this for years but didn’t want it to be just a gym competition. We are proud of our Masters lifters who are some of the strongest in the world. Many of whom compete in the Open classes internationally and win. We now have a place to showcase our Masters lifters, both full power and single lifters for people to see how moving into your 40s and beyond means the beginning, not the end.
The Full power competition is open to anyone 40 years of age or over, single lifts are open to anyone, but we reserve 15 places for Masters lifters. With entry, you receive a ticket to the expo for the full day. It is first come, first served!
The OPEN division single lift flights are purely a qualifier and record breaker flights (to give the full power Masters competitors a rest!). If you are Masters and enter single lifts, you can only enter one or the other (Masters or Open flights). You may be a Masters lifter and decide to enter the open flight to teach the young ones a lesson! Up to you!
Your incentive here is that as a Masters Lifter at thie competition, you will be able to take the Open British records should you beat them which lifting in the Masters class, this includes entering the Open single lifts where you will still be able to go for the Masters records and take them. Its up to you and totally biased towards our Masters.
The meet serves as a qualifier for British and European Championships for 2024, and, of course, you can break British records whilst qualifying!

THIS IS NOT AN INVITATIONAL EVENT – THIS IS NOT A MINIMUM POINTS COMPETITION – ANY Master can win the best overall, especially the older you are. It is gloves off guys – you want the best overall, you had better have your calculator with you.
