A Bird Walk in the Park' is a new guided walking series hosting by Nottingham Green Guardians on behalf of Nottingham City Council. These walks are an opportunity to show the public around some of our most favoured green spaces. We have an abundance of parks, and 54 Nature Reserves and Local Wildlife Sites across the city, so there is much to explore. Our regular Walks in the Park are generalised, but you've guessed it, these focus on exploring our parks with the intent of discovering wildlife, and especially birds.
This walk is aimed at all ages and is accessible to all, be sure to bring binoculars if you have them!

Nottingham's Arboretum is the oldest park in the city, and one of the most aesthetic, looking stunning all year round. With it's excellent collection of trees, it attracts a plethora of wildlife, particularly birds.
Parking is very limited, so we recommend using public transport for this walk, there are excellent bus and tram connections. If you have to drive, there is a small car park just off Arboretum Street, or if you don't mind a little walk, there is ample parking at The Forest, Mansfield Road Entrance, NG5 2BU.
