A Band Called Malice - Tribute to The Jam

Saturday 23rd January 2027 - A Band Called Malice

Whittles@Tokyo, 57 Roscoe Street, Oldham, OL1 1EA

Doors & Bar Open 7pm - Band on Stage 9pm

From the raw energy of In the City to the emotional weight of The Gift, A Band Called Malice recreates The Jam’s journey with a frightening level of authenticity. This isn't just another tribute act; it’s a time machine back to the heyday of mod revival meets punk-pop.
We don’t just play the hits—we live them. Expect explosive renditions of “Town Called Malice,” “Going Underground,” “The Eton Rifles,” and “That’s Entertainment,” alongside deep cuts like “Down in the Tube Station” and “David Watts.”
To ensure the experience is as visual as it is sonic, we perform on identical replica Rickenbacker guitars, with period-correct wardrobes and a stage presence that honors the original trio.
The Ultimate Seal of Approval
In 2026, we were chosen as the official house band for the Rick Buckler Memorial Event—the highest accolade a Jam tribute can receive. We are proud finalists in the National Tribute Awards and the only Jam tribute to secure a spot on the prestigious O2 Academy network tour (2024–2026).

The Band
Featuring Andy Coultas (vocals/guitar) channelling Paul Weller, Warren Mee (drums) capturing Rick Buckler’s rhythmic precision, and a rotation of bassists (Matt, Rob, and Dan) keeping the Foxton low-end thumping, this is a line-up of seasoned pros with decades of experience.
