Band, Back pOrchEstra and Dan Hick's Holidaze in Hicksville. Performing this year are Greg Dewey, Tim Eschliman, Snakebite Jacobs, Candy Girard, Paul Robinson, Henry Salvia and Paul
Olguin... plus Special guest Shana Morrison. **See below
This new show for 2022 includes a good handful of Dan's humorous holiday tunes, some of his other classics, a few Back pOrchEstra tracks (2022 album), and many CJB hits including the relatively recent holiday single: "Christmas On the Moon," poking fun at space billionaires.
Duke Dewey - founding CJB member
Tim Eschliman - founding CJB member, Back Porchestra leader
Snakebite Jacobs - 17 years with CJB, also recent New Orleans Nightcrawlers grammy.
Candy Girard - Back Porchestra violinist, recent CJB member.
Henry Salvia - Johnny Nocturne Band, Houston Jones.
Paul Olguin - Macy Gray, Shana Morrison.
Paul Robinson - CJB alumnus, was in Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks, leads "The Hot Licks" show these days.
**Christmas Jug Band News for 2022: some of the jug band personnel were not able to commit this year due to family and business issues... that doesn't mean they absolutely wont make it, but currently are unlikely...
So,... we talked it over...whether to give up for 2022, or carry on with a show that has a lot of CJB people and a lot of those tunes... and we decided we had to go for it!... to keep some shred of holiday normalcy for ourselves and our audience...
