About this Event
ReSound
ReSound is thrilled to return to Denver Violins’ Behind The Clock Series. The quintet will play songs about love—the ups, the downs and everything in between.
Kali Pagurigan, voice
Leena Waite & Erik Peterson, violins
Margaret Dyer Harris, guest viola
Erin Patterson, cello
Through solo voice and string quartet, Denver based group ReSound presents profound chamber music from a variety of genres written by composers mostly born in the 20th century to the present day. Weaving together the earthy vibrations of the human voice with wooden bowed instruments, ReSound aims to connect, breathe and move with the audience. The ensemble shifts easily from classical to jazz to arrangements of popular songs, musically expressing the vast terrain of human emotion - from tears to laughter, and everything in between. Programming ranges from the likes of Claude Debussy, Sting, Caroline Shaw, Punch Brothers, Jessie Montgomery, Talking Heads, Leos Janacek, and more.
ReSound is Kali Pagurigan on voice, Leena Waite & Erik Peterson on violins, Phillip Stevens on viola and Erin Patterson, cello. Collectively, they are active musicians/substitutes/performers with the Colorado Symphony, Opera Colorado, Colorado Ballet, Boulder Philharmonic, Colorado Bach Ensemble, Choir League, Central City Opera and more. They debuted in October 2022 and have performed at Friends of Chamber Music’s Clyfford Still concerts, Highlands Ranch Mansion Chamber Series, Dazzle, Front Range Chamber Players, Second Tuesdays at Trinity, and at the Daniels & Fisher Clock Tower in partnership with Denver Violins.
Tickets are limited in this unique concert experience so act fast!
Please note: this event will be held on Floors 17-21 of the D&F Tower. There is elevator access to Floor 17, and stairs will be required to get to the concert on Floor 18 and to access the rest of the viewing space.
The space is an open concept and does have a small amount of ambient noise that can not be turned off. This noise does not take away from the concert experience, but rather adds to the uniqueness of the space.
Where's the best place to park?
Metered street parking and surface lots are available on a first-come first-served basis throughout Downtown Denver. We also highly recommend the 1515 Arapahoe St Garage. The entrance is off of Lawrence on the right, and when you exit the lobby, you'll be right in front of the D&F Tower.
