8U Grizzlies tryouts will be held in the Winter as a month-long tryout. Details will come late 2026.
Tryouts for the upcoming season will take place between July 13 and July 15. If you cannot make your scheduled date/time, please reach out to Dan Hemler.
All players are required to attend tryouts.
Attire: DO NOT WEAR YOUR CURRENT TEAM JERSEY. A solid-color shirt is best. Proper baseball attire and gear (e.g., bat, glove, helmet, water bottle) are necessary.
Residency Guidelines: Team selection is based on tryout performance and roster needs with priority given to players who reside in Lake Zurich and nearby communities—typically defined as those living within the 60047 zip code or District 95 boundaries. If you live outside these boundaries, exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the age group and tryout results.
