9th North End Cornhole Classic

The North End's favorite will return to the Rose Kennedy Greenway on Sunday, June 7. This event marks the 9th year we'll toss bags to raise proceeds for the Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund and the North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC).

Tickets will be $100 per team (one ticket = 2 players) and includes:

• Two guaranteed games
• Two official New Balance t-shirts
• Two Ward 8 drink tickets
• Pauli's sandwich package

• The event will be held on Sunday - June 7, 2026 (rain date Sunday, June 14)
• Registration begins at 11:00am and tournament play begins promptly at 12:00pm.
• Location: the Rose Kennedy Greenway (North End parcels)
• We have an incredible lineup of raffle prizes, silent auction items, music, and more! Details to come as we get closer to the event.

More on the Geraldine Scholarship:

The North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) is honored to continue to offer the Geraldine Marshall Scholarship, and to preserve the legacy of a woman who loved children and the arts. The Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund enters its fourth year of awarding North End children under the age of 18 with a full-year scholarship for music lessons or to participate in one of NEMPAC’s artistic programs.

The Geraldine Marshall Scholarship was established by her son, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz. Ms. Marshall, who passed away at the age of 68, was born in Dorchester in 1946, moved to the North End at the age of 21 and settled here for almost 50 years before her passing. [Read in Full].
