9th Annual Very Jerry Xmas!
An Asheville tradition returns for its ninth year, celebrating the music and community of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band. Spiro Nicolopoulos and an All-Star band of local artists return to the Asheville Music Hall to spread musical holiday cheer for Asheville deadheads - from Asheville deadheads! Featuring Lee Kram on drums, Dan Pederson on bass, Brad Curtioff on keyboards and Spiro Nicolopoulos on guitar - special guests to be announced!
Very Jerry Xmas IV:
Gratefully, we are joined by Lee Kram - previous drummer for Melvin Seals and currently drumming with Asheville bands Jerry’s Dead, Phuncle Sam and Bridget Gossett. Lee plays weekly with Dan Pederson on bass with Jerry’s Dead - an Asheville Grateful Dead cover band - their rythyms have grooved and moved dancing shoes consistently for years.
Brad Curtioff of The Business and Lazrlovr brings the sounds of organs and rotating speakers taking soul and spirit to psychedelic peaks - intertwining with the guitar melodies played by Spiro Nicolopoulos.
Spiro has shared the bill with Phil Lesh, Trey Anastasio, Buddy Guy and more. His love for Grateful Dead music has been a major influence on his musical mindset and the motivation for the continuing tradition of Very Jerry Xmas!
