About this Event
Community, come through! Rising Voices is BACK and in person for the first time since 2019–and you know our youth have something to say about it!
Now in our 9th year, this annual public speaking event brings us all together–SWP scholars, generous volunteers, and audience members–to celebrate the genius, leadership, and bold, unapologetic voice of every child.
The competition kicks off at 11:00 AM with our Welcome Session & Preliminary Round. We'll enjoy a Community Luncheon at 1:00 PM, then watch our Finals Round & Awards Presentation at 2:00 PM.
ALL ARE WELCOME! These hard-working scholars deserve the opportunity to amplify their voice and tell their unique story to an audience that reflects the community in which they live. Come through, King County, and let's celebrate our incredible youth together!
