Powering Forward: Prioritizing Mental Health in Order to Foster Skills that Promote Student Social, Emotional, and Academic Success
Objectives:
1. Participants will explore how the brain develops through childhood and adolescence
2. Participants will engage in sessions that teach how to promote social, emotional, and academic success by developing students' self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.
3. Participants will explore new research/perspectives on treatment strategies that are targeted for maladaptive behaviors in today’s youth
