Please join the Legal Resource Center for Public Health Policy (LRC) and Maryland Department of Health (MDH) for the 2025 Maryland Tobacco Control Conference. This free in-person event will bring together local, state, and national experts to discuss the state of tobacco control.

Conference Purpose

Presenters and attendees will discuss tobacco law and policy updates at the national, federal, state, and local levels, tobacco prevention and cessation efforts, state level enforcement efforts, new and emerging tobacco products, and tobacco litter in the context of environmental justice.

Who Should Attend

• Public health, health care, academic, research, and tobacco control professionals; community-based organizations; and other partners interested in:
• Learning about current tobacco control and prevention efforts in Maryland;
• Identifying practical ways to improve tobacco control programs and activities;
• Analyzing national and federal tobacco law and policy trends;
• Anticipating concerning new tobacco products in the field; and
• Exchanging ideas and tips to sustain long-term efforts.
