About this Event
It’s common for trash and debris to end up in waterways – clogging drainage systems, impacting wildlife, affecting water quality and ruining the view of our natural landscapes. Be part of the largest watershed-wide clean-up in the state of Colorado! Creek Week volunteers clean up litter along by the creek and trail throughout the watershed. Get outdoors, get active, and create some good for your community and those living downstream.
We’re inviting individuals and groups (families, clubs, schools, neighborhoods, etc.) to help Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) clean up the creek behind the Loaf & Jug on Jerry Murphy in Pueblo, CO. The event is open to all ages. A waiver must be signed before participating in the clean up and minors must have parents/guardians sign their waiver before participating.
All materials will be provided for the clean up. Please wear closed-toed shoes and sun protection for the event. It is recommended to wear long pants since we will be walking through areas of thick brush. Cold drinks and snacks will be provided by PCAPP during the clean up as well as pizza after the event.
Can't wait to see you at the event and thank you for your support!
