Open Scratch/Handicap & Ladies Scratch/Handicap Divisions
Sunday, January 15, 2023 Time: 10:00 PM
Check-in begins at 9:00 PM
Entry Fee: $100 for one division, + $70 each additional division
(Lineage/Expenses $30 / Prize Fund $70.00)
Bowl 15 games across 15 pairs moving 2 pairs right after each game.
1. Event is USBC Certified.
2. Average: Highest (not composite) 2021-2022 USBC (bowl.com) (winter or summer) average (minimum 21 games) or current 21 game league average if it is ten pins higher. Average used will be standard or sport adjusted. It is bowler’s responsibility to enter with proper average.
3. Any person not having a bowl.com average must present proof of current 21 game league average or bowl scratch. This is the bowler’s responsibility.
4. Anyone using an average found to be incorrect will take a 0 for all frames bowled prior to discovering the error.
5. Handicap: All handicap division bowlers will use 90% of 210. Maximum handicap per game is 50 pins.
6. Lane Pattern: Sport Pattern – created by Kegel for this tournament.
7. If 32 entries in a division:1st place for that division will be
Scratch $1000 Handicap $1000
All other places paid based on number of entries.
One in full five entries will cash.
8. 3 Booster Side Pots - $10.00 each
a. Games 1-5, 6-10, & 11-15 (5 game blocks)
b. Each Booster pays high series and high game
Payout ratio - 1:5 full
9. If there is no Ladies Division (minimum 3 entries), and if no female cashes in an open division, the highest scoring female in each ‘open’ division will receive $120.00 for that division.
10. Score Corrections: Must be approved by Tournament Official or you will take 0 for the frame.
11. Maximum of 90 total entries will be accepted. Pre-registration is available.
12. Lane assignments done first come/first assigned.
13. Pinboy’s at the Beach employees are eligible to bowl.
14. Tournament Manager will rule on any rules not covered here-in.
