We are partnering with the City of Redwood City, Redwood City Together, PAL Center, Sequoia High School, and Cañada Community College, and Thrive to host the 9th annual College, Career, and Community Fair (CCCF) for high school students and their families. The fair will feature the following components:
College Expo: A dedicated area for college and university representatives to showcase their institutions, academic programs, and campus life. This is an excellent opportunity to engage directly with motivated students who are actively seeking information about higher education opportunities.
Career Exploration: A section where local businesses, organizations, and other agencies will provide insights into various industries, potential career paths, and job openings. This will help community members gain a comprehensive understanding of the different professional options available to them.
Community Engagement: A chance for community organizations to share their initiatives, opportunities, and resources, enabling students, families, and individuals to connect with their community and local resources.
Presentations: We will deliver a college admission presentation that covers the current landscape of college admissions. A separate presentation will be on financial aid and scholarships.
