About this Event
99x 2025 draws inspiration from the era of Prohibition: a time of hidden glamour, bold expression, and underground revelry. Guests are transported into a vivid world where vintage elegance meets the thrill of the unknown. Visual treatments and event design will take cues from 1920s speakeasies, art deco motifs, and masquerade opulence. 99x: Prohibition gives a veil of mystery and excitement — a fitting backdrop for a night that invites exploration, imagination, and celebration.
Your ticket or sponsorship is ALL INCLUSIVE of fabulous, interactive tableaux, complimentary food and creative Prohibition-era cocktails, a charity casino, liquor tastings, swinging the night away to the amazing sounds of the Wings of Swing Big Band and - of course - fabulous fashion and people watching!
About 99x:
99x is an annual, one night only fundraising event hosted by the Friends of the Springfield Art Museum. All proceeds benefit the education, outreach, and curatorial programs of the Springfield Art Museum.
The theme for the event changes each year and is inspired by works in the museum’s impressive permanent collection. This year’s art inspiration is "Un Ballo in Maschera" by George Tooker. The painting depicts an incandescent and dreamlike scene of a woman and two men at a masked ball.
