916 Swing Summer Pop-Up @ Midtown Stomp
916 Swing will be in the side room at Midtown Stomp on August 14th! In addition to all of the Midtown Stomp vintage swing dancing fun in the main room, we are working with Midtown Stomp to bring West Coast Swing to the side room. We have co-hosted events with them before at the riverfront and at Press Club and enjoy dancing with them. We're bringing an incredible champion instructor, Janelle Guido to teach a couple of classes for us. If you haven't tried West Coast Swing before or you're a seasoned pro, this will be a night you don't want to miss.
7pm - Advanced West Coast Swing - For those of you who have a substantial amount of West Coast Swing experience, join us for this class with champion Janelle Guido that will help you refine and move forward in your dancing.
8pm - Beginning West Coast Swing for Lindy Hoppers - Janelle is pretty good at Lindy Hop, too! She'll help us understand how to not just "fake it until you make it" but work on great West Coast Swing fundamentals. This class is for those who can already do swing outs and Lindy Hop basics.
9:00 - Midnight - Social Dancing - Vanessa Valdez wil be making her debut DJing for 916 Swing @ our Summer Pop-Up!!
