Come together with the City of Sacramento Department of Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment and Parks Commissioners, Victoria Vasquez and Nicole Kangas, for a day of service and fun at the 916 Day Volunteer Event in your neighborhood! This is your chance to make a tangible impact and help beautify our local park.
Event Activities:
• Garden Beautification: Pull weeds and plant fragrant rosemary near the stunning art sculpture, adding to the park's natural charm.
• Park Cleanup: Help us clear the park of litter, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for everyone.
• Recreation Enhancement: Install a brand-new volleyball net, providing a fun activity for park visitors.
• Fitness Restoration: Assist in fixing and maintaining exercise equipment to promote a healthy lifestyle for our community.
Snacks and Refreshments will be provided. Meet like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Take pride in knowing you’ve played a crucial role in enhancing a beloved local park.
