Brazilian Samba, an energetic dance originating in Brazil from Angolan and Congolese origins. Samba is at the core of Rio’s famous Carnival known internationally for its contagious rhythm and expression of joy.
During this 90 minute workshop you will learn the fundamentals of ‘samba no pe’, with emphasis on posture, footwork, hip movements and graceful coordinated arms.
You will build confidence in the fundamental samba step by learning simple combinations and a short choreography. Come dressed in non-restrictive clothing and ready to sweat.
