9 week Ukulele Course - Beginner 1 Daphne Roubini Thursdays at 6pm

Ruby's Ukes, is the largest physical ukulele school in the world outside of Hawaii. Since 2009 we have supported the musical journeys of thousands of students who now have the absolute pleasure and connection of music in their lives!

Ruby's Ukes presents a Ukulele Course Extraordinaire with Daphne 'Ruby' Roubini the founder of Ruby's Ukes at the helm that takes place in-person at Rhodes Wellness College, 1125 Howe St Suite 280, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2K8.

We are so delighted to be able to offer classes in-person again, and say let's make music together while we can! We have added a class materials page that you will have access to with all your song charts, theory charts and audio samples that you can play along with.

The classes are live, and in person so meet other ukulele players each week, and have a fun, educational, appointment to play that will inspire and motivate you to take your Ukulele playing to your next personal level. Simple.

The classes are a weekly 90 minute session and will leave you smiling and a whole lot smarter. The perfect way to keep inspired and have an appointment to play music each week. These classes are all 13 yrs+.

This level is perfect for you if you have never played the Ukulele before, or just been playing a chord here and there and would like to get a great Uke foundation to have fun and grow from. No previous music experience necessary at all!

You will learn: to play chords, strum and sing simple songs on the Ukulele. Read simple melodies (trust me 100s of students have!) and learn the basic chords associated with the C Scale. This is a fun class where you will learn the solid basics of playing this fun little Instrument. Plus 2-part ensemble playing, and a variety of tunes and genres from a repertoire of Jazz, Blues, Country, Classical, folk & contemporary tunes! We taught thousands of people to experience the joy of music made simply. It is easy, you’ll love it!

This course gives you a solid foundation in playing the Ukulele, in a fun, supportive environment.
