9-Week Introduction to Watercolor Course - Understanding Color Theory

Time: Guided class from 11:00am-1:00pm open art time from 1:00-2:00pm

Activity Description: Express your creative side with our 9-Week introductory course. This is considered a level 1 beginner class. 

Students will learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting and color theory/blending from an experienced artist. You will be taught the basic techniques used and skills needed to create an amazing painting during each class session.

More Information: This class expands on the information taught in our Back to the Basics Level 1 classes allowing the student to hone their talents and create beautiful pieces of art they are proud of. We also teach you how to make each painting unique by using your creativity. We believe in you and would love to help you to bring the amazing benefits of art into your life.

This workshop takes place once every week for nine weeks. Each class is approximately 2 hours long. This is a total of 18 hours of instruction over the course of the workshop. One hour of open art time will also be available after every class to allow students to catch up on any missed material. Missed classes can also be made up by attending the class online at a later date or by scheduling a private lesson for an additional fee. Please note that credits will not be credited back to your account if you are absent from class.

Students must register at least 24 hours in advance of each class. Attendance at all classes is strongly encouraged to maximize your learning potential. Please note that some paintings make take more than one session to complete.
