Tango Primavera is the 9th Hamburg International Tango Festival in the tradition of the winter festivals in Hamburg, organized by the association "Freunde des Tango Argentino in Hamburg" since 2019. So far it was a winter festival - due to Corona it will be a spring festival this year. Let's enjoy springtime colorful and full of sunshine together!
And so that we can all refresh our tango technique and interpretation intensively after a long Corona break, we have invited fantastic dancers, tango teachers and musicians for you!
We are pleased to welcome the 2021 Tango World Champions from Argentina, Bárbara Ferreyra and Agustín Agnes, as well as one of the best tango teacher couples, Diana del Valle and Juan Camerlingo from Argentina, based in Stuttgart. Both couples will give a total of 12 workshops and of course dance for you at the evening events - together with Veronica Villaroel and Marcelo Soria, the hosts from Hamburg.
The orchestra La Juan d'Arienzo will play for you on May 27th - ten thoroughbred musicians who have been delighting audiences in Hamburg for many years. We were able to win the Quinteto de Mujeres for May 26th - five thoroughbred musicians heat up the floor!
And of course there are milongas every evening - and the season opening on the Hansaplatz on Saturday, May 28th at 3 p.m. Look forward to our DJs: Doro, Michael Griffin, Peter Rücknagel, Daniel Perreira and Momo. So that we can really dance again, for days and nights!
