George Grant instrumentalist, producer, engineer, and former live show bassist for Aurelio Voltaire, created the project in 2018, in NYC, NY. The music is a very unique combination of Goth, Postpunk, Synthwave, Rock, and Shoegaze. George and drummer/synth player Luis Infantas bear multi-generational influences that accept no boundaries, but still maintain an overall succinct flow and feel. 40 years of solid songwriting (across many genres) has helped George embellish on well-established hooks reminiscent of bands like Tears For Fears and the Church, matched with the drive and determination of acts such as The Chameleons and Peter Gabriel. Include the gothic-pop sensibilities of early Cult and The Cure and BRB does some very creative dusting off, updating, and recreating this early “alternative/goth magic”.

Ashes Fallen have performed up and down the United States’ west coast with acts including Kælan Mikla, Children On Stun, ACTORS, Creux Lies, Aurelio Voltaire, Nox Novacula, Dead Leaf Echo, Altar De Fey, and Astari Nite, and have been booked to perform at events including New York City’s A Murder Of Crows, Salt Lake City’s Dark Arts Festival, and Portland’s Out From The Shadows."
