ntroducing THE THEATRE;
Our brand new venue coming this Fall with it’s grand opening on September 27th🎭
Originally constructed in 1914, the Trinity Building was an architectural masterpiece. Hidden within its layers, a 1600-seat auditorium quickly found itself as a flourishing cultural hub within Los Angeles and was home to the LA Philharmonic’s first season in 1919.
On top of occupying the West’s biggest pipe organ installation, it served as a hotspot for operas, orchestras, and jazz concerts. It even became a beloved filming location for pioneers like Charlie Chaplin and an annexed USC residency hall in the ’90s before its future fell into a state of limbo.
Now closed for nearly two decades, this building rooted in our city’s early civic and music history has became a sleeping giant, leaving everyone with one question: “Will it ever open?”
Spanning from September - November, we are thrilled to be able to breathe new life into THE THEATRE and provide LA’s music scene with a fresh experience filled with our most special curations to date.
