About this Event

Hosted by Shaun Manning, local author and co-owner of Booksweet, this FREE monthly conversation for teens and adults explores the themes, characters, cultural context, and personal resonance of books banned from public school libraries and curriculums in the United States.

Booksweet will donate 10% of the profits from to the ACLU as part of our annual Banned Books Week celebrations September 18-24, 2022.

This Banned Book Club conversation will be on Friday, September 16 from 8-9 pm at Booksweet to discuss by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi.
